CiA seminars
CAN in Automation (CiA) offers seminars with regard to CAN-related topics. These seminars address development engineers, system integrators, as well as decision-makers who want to learn more about the CAN. Depending on the type of seminar, they cover all three generation of CAN (CAN CC, CAN FD, and CAN XL) as well as CAN-based higher layer protocols such as CANopen. All CiA seminars are device- and manufacturer-independent.

In-house seminars
In-house seminars are offered to companies with dedicated training requirements. The agenda of an in-house seminar is tailored to your company's specific needs. Any CAN-technology-related topic can be covered.
CiA webinars
CiA webinars inform on latest trends in CAN-based networking. This can cover physical layer aspects (e.g. CAN FD, ringing suppression, partial networking, etc.), latest news on CAN FD or CAN XL data link layer features, as well as system design aspects (e.g. CANopen FD, integration of embedded networks in cloud applications, safety, cyber security, etc.). CiA webinars last ca. 1h (including 15 min questions and answers).

CiA technology days
These one-day information events inform about new and upcoming CiA specification projects. They provide an overview and some details about CAN-related communication. Some of these CiA technology days are focused on a specific topic, while other provide a brief introduction to all CiA activities.
Note: During the Covid-19 pandemic, the CiA technology days were held as online meetings. Some of the CiA technology days have been recorded and are available on CiA’s Youtube channel.
