For general-purpose and sanitary applications

Temposonics, an Amphenol company, recently expanded its LL-Series by the CANopen-connectable LLE and LLH transmitters for liquid level measurements in general purpose and sanitary applications.

The LL-Series for general applications joins the existing LP-Series focused on hazardous areas. The crossover between the two product lines includes a high-speed update rate, compact design, and different network interfaces for machine automation, informs the manufacturer. Beside others, the CANopen interface according to CiA 301 specification and bit-rates up to 1 Mbit/s is supported. Also, the CiA 406 (version 3.1) device profile for encoders is implemented.

The Level Plus LLH transmitter can provide product level and/or interface level measurements up to 2525 mm in sanitary and hygienic applications. The IP69K-rated sensor provides an inherent accuracy ±0,5 mm. It can be mounted on most tanks offering NPT (3/4-inch) and Tri-Clamp connections from 1,5 to 6 inches. The Level Plus LLE can provide product level and/or interface level data in general purpose applications. It can also be ordered with an optional temperature measurement of a straight RTD output. The LLE transmitter can be mounted on most tanks offering NPT and RF flanged connections from 3/4 to 4 inches. Included in the model number of a transmitter is the selection of float, cable, and stop collar options.
