Support for CANopen and J1939

Genge & Thoma offer several joysticks with CANopen and J1939 connectivity. The products address application including off-road vehicles and vehicle body applications.

The self-resetting SK197 joystick provides by default two axes and features a deflection angle of ±26° (Source: Genge & Thoma)

The SK 60 joystick is an allrounder. It offers several options with different haptic characteristics to choose from. The product is available in various configurations and has up to three axes depending on the handle. In the core of the joystick is a hall-effect sensor. The IP67-rated joystick comes optionally with a CAN interface featuring CANopen or J1939 support.

The SK197 joystick provides also up to three axes. It is based on potentiometer. The IP54-rated product supports CANopen and J1939, too. It is suitable for remote control devices.

The SK212 multi-function joystick is designed for harsh environments. The IP65-rated product is suitable for mobile hydraulic, agriculture as well as construction machines, and off-shore equipment. The joystick uses hall-effect sensors. Additional switches, thumbwheels, etc. can be applied. The product is available with CANopen and J1939 ports.

The Swiss company established in 1958 exports about 90 percent of its joysticks. It has sales partners in many European countries, the U.S.A, Australia, China, Taiwan, and India. The company is CiA member since 2017.
