CiA MG (marketing group) CANopen

On February 4, 2025, CiA has scheduled a (Zoom) meeting to establish a CANopen marketing group.

The proposed scope of the MG is to develop a joint marketing strategy for CANopen CC (classic) and CANopen FD. This includes the organization of joint marketing activities on tradeshows, CiA events, as well as in CiA-owned and third-party publications (including social media such as LinkedIn and YouTube).

Proposed agenda:
  • Welcome, house-keeping, and brief roll call
  • Discussion about the MG scope
  • Discussion about the MG work plan 2025 and eventually beyond (schedule of CiA webinars, CiA technology days, and other CiA events promoting CANopen technologies)
  • Artwork for CANopen CC and CANopen FD
  • Election of a chairperson
  • Scheduling of next meeting(s)
