No war at all: There are no roads to peace, peace is the way

On 24 February 2022, Russia has attacked with armed forces the Ukraine. The CiA Board of Directors (BoD) condemns this international law disgusting war.

We support the United Nations General Assembly Resolution ES-11/1 adopted on 2 March 2022, which deplored Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and demanded a full withdrawal of Russian forces and reversal of its decision to recognize the self-declared People’s Republics of Donetsk and Luhansk. The paragraph 10 of this resolution confirmed the involvement of Belarus in unlawful use of force against Ukraine. The resolution was sponsored by 96 countries, and passed with 141 voting in favor, 5 against, and 35 abstentions.

CiA regrets any victim on both sides of this war. Our thoughts and our sympathy are with them and their families. CiA donated to Aktion Deutschland Hilft to help war victims in Ukraine. The Aktion Deutschland Hilft is a coalition of renowned German relief aid organizations.

The CiA BoD appeals Russia to stop the war against Ukraine immediately. We ask the CiA members to inform their employees, business partners, and customers about the military attacks against civilian targets, especially against unarmed people. The CiA BoD supports its Russian members and the Russian CAN community in any activities to show their objections against this war.
