CiA® 452: CANopen device profile for PLCopen motion control

This profile specifies the CANopen interface for drives controlled by programmable logic controllers (PLC) using PLCopen motion control. The main intention of this specification is to control the drive using one RPDO and one TPDO. The motion function block can be operated by the PLC or by the drive. This profile also specifies the CANopen interface for main-subordinate drive control according to PLCopen. This specification introduces a power drive system finite-state automaton different than that in IEC 61800-7-1/-201/-301. The CiA 452 power drive system finite-state automaton, reflects the application behavior of the power drive as seen from the control device. Due to the requirement that a power drive system provides local control even when the communication network is not working properly, the CANopen communication finite-state automaton specified in CiA 301 and the CiA 452 power drive system finite-state automaton are loosely coupled.

CiA 452 version 1.1.0CANopen device profile for PLCopen motion control
DescriptionThis document specifies the classic CANopen interface controlling PLCopen drives by means of one RPDO (receive process data object) and one TPDO (transmit process data object). This includes the parameter (objects) used for PLCopen-specific modes supporting gear, jog, and camming functions. Objects specified in IEC 61800-7-201 are referenced in the Annex A.

CiA 301 version 4.2.0CANopen application layer and communication profile
DescriptionThis specification specifies the CANopen application layer. This includes the data types, encoding rules and object dictionary objects as well as the CANopen communication services and protocols. In addition, this specification specifies the CANopen network management services and protocols. This specification specifies the CANopen communication profile, e.g. the physical layer, the predefined communication object identifier connection set, and the content of the Emergency, Timestamp, and Sync communication objects.
