In the Enniscorthy Quarry in Northern Ireland, the Finlay J-1175 crushes rocks and stones with much noise. The single-toggle jaw crusher is the latest development to complement Terex Finlay’s range of mobile crushing, screening and washing plants. The crusher is fitted with a 1 070 mm × 760 mm Jaques crusher chamber and a heavy-duty undercarriage for exceptional on site mobility. A heavy duty vibrating grizzly feeder with automatic control to regulate the feed into the crusher, hydrostatic drive, reverse crushing action to assist in clearing blockages are all major features of this unit. The owner of the crusher, Yellowstone C & D Ltd., regards the J-1175 as ideal for contract crushing and demolition/recycling applications. Edward Warren, the Managing Director of Yellowstone, explains why they have opted for the new J-1175 finlay jaw crusher. “Having used jaw crushers from other suppliers, we were initially impressed with the increased production through the J-1175.” The J‑1175 jaw crusher is the first in the new crushing range to be launched by Terex Finlay. With the I-1312 impact crusher, the machine builder is forecasting significant progress in the overall service that they can offer to their customers both in the home market and abroad.
