Power generation systems

Several systems for electrical power generation use embedded CAN-based control systems. In photovoltaic systems, CAN-based networks link DC/AC inverter, solar panel tracking sub-systems, sensors, measuring units, and data recorders. In wind power systems, CAN-based systems are used for pitch and yaw control.
In order to interconnect different power generating systems with a local power management system, CAN-based systems are used not only in vehicles but also in some buildings.
