Embedded machine control systems
Embedded machine control requires a highly flexible application layer in order to tailor the communication to the machine application. Normally, the CAN-based embedded network connects the sub-systems as well as single control devices such as I/O modules, drives, and programmable controllers. Some of these machine use hierarchical CAN-based networks with deeply embedded networks that connect individual sensors and actuators.
