CAN in biomass power plant

Vacon uses CANopen in its Profibus-connectable AC drives as a second interface for configuration and diagnostic purposes. The drives are used for example in the biomass power plant by Kaukaan Voima, the second biggest in Finland. It has been in full operation in Lappeenranta since February 2010. There are more than 100 drives installed, monitored, adjusted, and parameterized via CAN.
