Lift control devices

In lift control systems, CAN networks are used to interconnect the floor and car panels as well as displays to the call and drive controllers. They also link the car drive, the door controller and additional sensor devices. The CiA 417 series specifies the CANopen Lift application profile. This profile specifies functional elements (virtual devices) that may be implemented in CANopen devices for lift control purposes.
