Laboratory automation devices

In automated laboratory systems devices such as dilutors, shakers, drives, centrifuges, heaters or coolers have to interact in a precise and safe way. These components have to meet the specific requirements of the laboratory environment. Requirements for the communication interface of such components of an automated laboratory system are provided in the CiA 434 set of CANopen profiles.
