Pumps

Generic pumps are classified as liquid and vacuum pumps. These pumps are controlled e.g. via the pumping speed that refers to the volume flow rate of a pump at its inlet. The pumps may support a control interface according to CiA 450. The CiA 450 CANopen device profile for pumps is based on the bus-independent profile developed under the patronage of the VDMA (German nonprofit association of machine builders).
